The project explores the possibility, for Danish manufacturers of components for the maritime industry to use a PSS-approach as a positioning on the market, against the ever-expanding competition from Asia. The project is carried out in cooperation with the Danish Maritime Branch Association and two maritime suppliers. The project presents a development tool for implementing PSS in the participating companies; where a strong focus is suggested to be placed on integrating insight of the user activity, defining the service parameters, developing a PSS morphology and a evaluationg screening tool. The project presents six concepts with point of departure in the two cooperating companies.
